Igor Levit performs Ronald Stevenson's epic Passacaglia on D.S.C.H., the monumental 80-minute solo piano work composed in 1960-62 in tribute to Dmitri Shostakovich and based on the composer's musical signature (D-Eb-C-B). Released February 25, 2022 on Sony Classical (cat# 19439903681) as a limited-edition 180g 2LP Stereo set. Recorded at Hanover, HCC, Leibniz-Saal, February 4-6, 2020.
