Zubeida (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Shyam Benegal’s Zubeidaa (2001), starring Karisma Kapoor in a story of love and royal intrigue, is beautifully matched by an A.R. Rahman score of rare elegance, set to Javed Akhtar’s lyrics.

The festive “Mehndi Hai Rachnewali” and the graceful “Dheeme Dheeme” sit alongside richly textured pieces shaped by Rajasthani tradition, giving the album a regal, poignant character all its own.

This vinyl LP brings out the craftsmanship of one of Rahman’s most refined scores. A distinctive collectible for A.R. Rahman admirers, lovers of period cinema and connoisseurs of Hindi film music.
